D_B_S and Slan : grief

This was before I heard the news...about the kid... T^T it was originally planned as ‘apprehension’ but ‘grief’ works just as well. Wanted to avoid the tears when I painted this, just to see if I can get absolute grief without them.

Those threadwaist pants have been passed down in our family since the 80s and I simply can’t picture anybody living with his/her parents during awaited pregnancy without wearing them. They had to be included.

Breasts on this pic are bigger than I would have liked, actually. Not sure what your comment is, sash.

I was too lazy to color the entire thing, and I just realized I never extablished how slan’s colors look. . . so I just did this. When you contact things, you make them real and give them color however long it lasts.

And Slan. Slan is there like all good ‘friends’ to comfort in times like this. If I could send her in rl to help I would, you two would probably get along fine.

The poster was actually in my room as a little kid. It was a pettibon poster for some SST band who was last minute pushed into a nomad sandwich whilst going through our town, and gave the planned poster to the music store my uncle was working at at the time... I thought it was perfect at the time I drew this...

Look, All I can say was I’m sorry about all of this. . . I just needed a pic of your latest sona up to pay you back for the other ones... and I wasn’t so confident about the kid making it. . . I doubt anyone’s ability to carry a kid to term would be helped by such a long time beforehand living off tesco value noodles.
