NAMED LINEUP - Dawnsong

A drawing I made for to explain to people the mechanics behind the story of Dawnsong as it stands.

Loved that little warm expression I got on Syndra and decided 'You know what? I'll label it in MS paint and post it.'


Syndra is just so tough to get a hold of, I've been overexerting myself to get her to be reflective. She's not a slut, she's not militiant, and she does not fucking have 'spunk.' She's warm, yasashii and gentle, but strong in character; generally likes to support the hot guys and the winning side; has no qualms about ripping someone's face off if the need arises; has a healthy, normal libido for someone her age; reacts as an audience personifier to the other personalities through much of the picture, and her fatal flaw is that she is fucking awful at understanding other people's motivations.
To her, Van also merely thinks Reynard is hot (hence the 'Buck up' scene, she literally can't understand why Van would feel strongly about him); to her, Ysengrim is too insane to be trusted, she can't understand why Chantecler has a thing against her because she thinks he knows that the time she tried to fucking kill him she was ''just following orders,'etc. (She was.)
